We met up with Steve and Ashley again. They had three days off in the middle of this week, and we were both in the Albany area. So we booked the same Fairfield Inn. We arrived within five minutes of each other. After we moved into our rooms, we walked over to Cracker Barrel for dinner.

The night concluded with a few rounds of card games, and we made plans for the next day. Ashley confessed that she had homework to do. Though they had originally planned to help us with our show the next day, Ashley really needed to take the time to do some work. Steve, though, was still willing to come with us. A three person team? Hm--how would we explain that to the school contact person? "Uhm, yeah--you see, she and I are married. And this guy... is helping us out? Yeah he does our job, too. But..." Eh, could have gotten complicated. Kelsey, then, wanted to stay with Ashley--not to distract her--but so that she wouldn't be alone the whole morning. Kelsey also confessed her long-time dream of having me wake up early in the morning and going to work while she stayed in bed and slept. Hah! I love her, but I'm not surprised. Kelsey really likes sleeping. So, Steve graciously granted Kelsey's dream to come true, and we decided that he and I would go and do the show in the morning. Kelsey could sleep in a little bit, and hang out with Ashley the whole morning. Steve and I felt like we could uniquely provide for our wives. We like to see them happy to be together. And fortunately, Steve and I are good friends apart from them, too. So it would work out. Thanks for working with me on your day off, Steve.

So yeah! That's what we did! Steve and I got up at 6:00 and did the show together. It was a pretty long morning--three showings in a row. But the kid help was great, the auditorium was plenty big enough, and it was the smoothest set-up we'd had in a while. Meanwhile, Kelsey got to sleep in a little bit, and she and Ashley met each other at breakfast. Afterward, they hung out in Ashley's room while Ashley did homework and Kelsey kept busy so as to avoid being a distraction. By the time Steve and I were done and back, the girls checked out of the hotel and were at Dunkin Donuts.

Applebee's fed us lunch, and Panera kept us entertained while Walmart performed our monthly oil change. The afternoon was soon over, and it was time for us to split our separate ways.

All in all, it was another refreshing time with Steve and Ashley. Thanks, guys, for coming to meet up with us!
