Well staying in Las Vegas was one thing on Kelsey's list of things she wanted to do last year, but didn't. Seeing Hoover Dam was another thing. Fortunately, we made it 2-for-2 in just our first two days on tour!


We weren't satisfied with just driving over the dam. We found a parking spot, and walked back to the dam to take a few pictures (attached). It was dreadfully hot though! So we didn't stay too long. But what a sight it was. It was an impressive structure set in a beautiful canyon. The Southwest is so full of such gorgeous natural wonders and landscapes. Every once and a while you find a manmade structure that tries to rival them.
