Where I stayed
American Airlines Flight 955
We both worked on Wednesday and left the house around 6pm. Thanks to Becky for taking us to JFK! What a huge help that was. We arrived at JFK around 8:15 since we spent about 45 minutes getting through the toll both before the bridge. Have we mentioned how much we hate driving to JFK?
Check in was a piece of cake. Just made the 50lb weight limit on 2 of the 3 bags.
We ate a quick meal and moved briskly to our gate for boarding, only to find out the plane was delayed 1.5 hours because of a nasty thunderstorm. Our flight was scheudled to leave at 10:15. We boarded a little after 11pm, then sat on the plane for more than one hour because of a ¨rubling sound underneath business class¨. Poor babies. After the mechanic cleared us, we took off around 12:30am. Harmony and I took some heavy sleep meds which paid off big time. The plane was a 777 and had rows of 2-5-2. We had the two on the right. The row of 5 next to us was populated by the cast of Jersey Shore. They had a combined IQ of a wet dishcloth and we had no idea what they could possibly be doing going to Argentina. Luckily they shut their heavily accented traps and crashed around 2am.
Since this flight was overnight, this will be continued on tomorrow´s post.
