time for all I knew. I navigated my way through the enormous airport to
find my gate for the next flight and meet my colleague who drove over
from Holland. We flew to Hamburg and got there around 4pm.
Checked into the hotel, ran through some work emails, and went to dinner. We actually went to an Italian restaurant that he recommended but I didn't have high hopes for good Italian food in northern Germany. Boy was I wrong!
Amazing fresh Italian bread with oil/vinegar dipping sauce
Fresh calamari appetizer in garlic sauce cooked to perfection
Black tortellini filled with salmon with a pumpkin ginger sauce on top
Homemade strawberry mousse with rasberries and blackberries
Topped it off with a $40 euro bottle of 2005 Cabernet from Sicily!!
Amazing meal!!
Back to the room by 8pm and crashed around 10pm which was much needed.
