Egyptian Railway Station- whats missing here	This was most uncomfortable	Everyone turn left and don't worry about the cars	They raced in the sun to see who would be first
The entrance to Karnak	3000 of these lined the street	This was a sheep temple	Inside the first gate
One of the many granite statues	Huge simple columns 134 of these fill the site	The paint remans on the horizontal bits	See 2500 years old
This is a 70 tonne lintel	These are 10 metres tall	Deep carving on all of them	Zoomed in on a lintel
Three metres thick	Even the reds lasted well	These are the big boys 21 metres tall	Interesting angles
The needle, one of the few left	A double roofed tomb	Big stones, really big stone	Pharohs symbol. Still in graet shape
Papyrus in the flat style	Papyrus in the column style	It looks like a spaceship it does really	Thats definately a spaceman helmet
Even the budgies had helmets	After lunch the germans go .	Its easy to build with modern tools	Up the secret stairs
Restoration proceeds	Halfway back to life.	This is amazing.	Now which horsy was ours?
Next temple, different column tops	Look everything lines up.	An Early Lion man, slightly worse for wear.	This was 25 metres high.
OTT use of carvings	Ibex running for its life	That is a cool vulture	The arabs did'nt live in this one
This must have been a colourful place	Come on the guy in the hat is definately an alien	Different pharohs sign	Realy deep carving. about 30cm deep.
These are physicans tools.	Was the guy on the right really excited ....	Google this if you need more detail.	Tombs tombs tombs
Crappy restoration by the french	Just useless.	Early Kung fu exercises	There were a lot of these vessels from hell.
