Just a quick entry as its our final day in Bangkok (with free wi-fi!).  We were up bright and early this morning to head to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.  Its 110km west of Bangkok and took us around an hour and a half to get there in a nice air conditioned mini bus.  The motorway was a little scary - undertaking, last minute lane changes, dead dog in the middle lane, and driving on the hard shoulder seemed very much the norm!  Anyway, we got there safe and sound and it was well worth it!  This was postcard stuff.  Vivid colours from the various fruits on sale.  Amazing smells from the locals cooking on the boats.  All in all and very exciting place to be as you can see from the photos.  We also got to sail down the khlongs (canals) to see traditional Thai houses and how they live and travel by boats, unique!
Oh, and on the way out there was a cobra show.... but we didn't have time for that!
Just chillin at the pool now before we set off on the sleeper train to Chiang Mai.

Total nights in Bangkok = 4
