Again, in LA you can find all kind of towns, Korea town, China town, Japan town and the Mexicans are everywhere! What I was not aware was that there is such a big Armenian community in LA, a lot of which resides in Glendale (where I was staying).
Despite not having the feel of a big metropolis like NYC, LA still has plenty of things to do and go to see. And I am not talking about taking the "Celebrities houses” tours which take you to see the houses of celebrities and you just end up seen the garbage bin of Leonardo Di Caprio because of course his house is surrounded by a tall wall!
There are beautiful beaches, nice restaurants with nice food, well worth visiting museums, the movie production parks (all of them are situated together in LA) and of course hollywood.
I really had a great time in LA and despite the fact that this had to do with seeing again after a long time a very good friend of mine and being hosted by his family, LA is a very nice and friendly city.
It is a city where you can live permanently.
Of course the highlight for me was getting to see my good friend Rafi after so many many years! Thank you for showing me such a great time in LA. I am also very grateful to the Balian family who took me in their home for 2 weeks and treated me like one of their own! I can not thank you enough!
