Hot, hot, and stinkin hot, but we are surviving, thanks to some airconditioning, cool fruit drinks and delicious mangos. The Alice heat really hit us for the 2 days we were there, I think we were a bit out of practice in handling it thanks to the Adelaide so called 'summer'. Caught up with the family then it was on to Darwin where we have been getting used to the humidity, lounging around, swimming and just relaxing. Went to the markets yesterday and drank yummy juices and have been pigging out on mangos, I think we will definitely get used to this life!

B took us out to Leitchfield NP for the day where we spent a few hours cooling off in the Buley Rook Pools. I'll add some photos so you can all see how beautiful it is. This time tomorrow we will be in Kuala Lumpur! I can't really believe it is actually happening - I spent the fist day in Darwin saying 'I can't believe we are in Darwin!' 'cause that means we are nearly in Malaysia. Today we saw a man mowing his front lawn in his speedos - only in Darwin hey! Darwin is very green and tropical. We aren't used to seeing palm trees everywhere. Unfortunately you can't really swim in the ocean which would drive me crazy.

Great to see Marisa, B, Paul and Duane again, it's like we still live in the same place. we have been practicing some Malay with B and Marisa and it is quite similar to Indonesian which they have been learning. So Selamat tinngal to you all.
