onto Cambodia we go.......but first, some people have asked me to put some pictures of my trip on here and all you have to do is click on the picture you can see to the left of this and it will take you to my travel blog.....scroll down through the text until you come to more pictures then click the first one and away you go!!!!!!! facebook numpties.

Crossed into Cambodia by bus then on foot at Poipet then another bus to Siem Reap and the temples of Angkor Wat.......to be honest i knew very little about Cambodia, except what i remember as a child when it was always on the news because of the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot. Millions died as a result of him ruling and considering it was little more than thirty years ago the people have rebuilt and moved on very quickly and it is a very friendly place to be in and i am loving my time here....

We have come to Siem Reap first to visit the temples of Angkor Wat (the largest religious structure in the world) Cambodia's national symbol.....Angkor Thom a 10 km square fortified city built a thousand years ago. And Ta Prohm one of the temples left to the jungles power and the sight many movies are shot.... Tomb raider being one of them.

Now, Cambodia is very flat so we decided to hire cycles for a dollar a day and bike round the sights....12 km the first day.....18km the second and 25 km the last day and it was worth the pain and fiery hoop i now posses.

Siem Reap town is great to be in at night with most of the bars and restaurants in the Psar Chaa area....eating and drinking is cheap with snake and crocodile on most of the menus.... delicious!!

Anyway onto the pics......enjoy.
