Ica was great, an actual desert oasis, 1.6 ml of rain a year and stone splitting sun the rest of the time, went sandboarding here, they have mountain sand dunes and the desert is maybe one of the most beautifull and peacefull places I have been, apart from when you are being driven around the sand dunes by a lunatic in a buggy which was really actually the highlight of the place. Rest of the time I lay in a hammock by the pool drinking pisco which is like a whiskey made from grapes but a hel of a lot stronger.
