There is always time for another market.

Sadly, Dave was feeling progressively worse with food-poisoning as we boarded the bus.On arrival in San Juan Ostuncalco, he planted himself in shady spot on a stoop while Michelle made a quick loop around the market. It is a local market where people buy their vegetables, meat, pottery and other household goods. It is always fun to watch the wheeling and dealing. Imagine having to bargain for every grocery purchase.

A friendly local explained that some festivities were going on when he spotted us taking a second look at a streamer decorated chicken bus.  Marimba music filled the street and woman with tinsel-decorated straw hats joined the festivities.

Back at the stoop, Dave was not faring well. We went in search of a bathroom and were happy to find a clean one.  We then b-lined back home.
