It was difficult to leave the hotel and after a late start we explored Naples a bit before taking the expressway to St. Pete's. Many Yankees have retirement properties in Naples. The harbor, the beach, the climate make it a good place for that. St Pete's is reputed to have the best beach in America. But we had had enough beach time already and drove on by....
