In the morning we explored "Old Town" Charleston. The lovely market area with mostly the usual cheap tourists trinkets. But there are also a few artesians with some unique crafts.Basket Weaver at Market in Charleston
These baskets are woven with pine needles and about 3 different grasses.

We explored the exclusive waterfront neighborhood area by foot and strolled through lovely alleys and marveled at the colorful houses and perfectly groomed hedges, and small yards. 


Customs House

  

We enjoyed the town so much we got a late start out of town. We decided going to Savanah GA would be a bit far and stopped in Hilton Head SC.
