Slept in till 6am this morning ( yippee). We headed of early as the weather forcast was for snow so we wanted to get to our next destination of Ardgour before it set in.

The satnav lady was kind and whizzed us through Glasgow and onto Dumbarton where we stopped off to give Mum and Tori a chance to catch up.

With them headed in the right direction we continued our journey this time along the bonny banks of Loch Lomond, the scenery along this route was just beautiful, snowy mountain peaks along with greenery and the Loch.

We then stopped off at a tearoom in Talbot, again waiting for Mum and Tori to appear. Waited for an hour, having lunch and down to the loch to take photos and when they didn;t arrive decided to ciontinue on our way. ( turns out they took the turn to Stirling and were on the other side of Loch Lomond) The scenery just continued all the way to Ardgour, snow everywhere ( but not on the roads thank goodness) arriving just before dark'

Have just come up from dinner, a nice meal where Ron enjoyed haggis and venison. ( I think he is determined to try every delicacy along the way)

Just getting some energy up to go back down to the bar to ring in the new year, scottish style :-)

Will upload some photos from the last few days tomorrow.'
