... to be able to see if it changes you.

We started in Brossard with clouds and snow flakes. Well in Pennsylvania that afternoon, guess what we had (more flakes). All day was cloudy and wet and cold.
The motel and the restaurant felt nice and they were warm.
Well guess what today was cold also. Everywhere we stopped we got looked at because the car is so dirty and also because we had our winter coats and I had my tuque on.
In the US all their cars are clean and they do not wear tuques with shorts.
The more you go south the quicker you have to get there. The speed limit is only a suggestion for everyone. At some point I was going 85 MILES an hour (close to 1 million km. an hour) and people were passing me.
We made it in Myrtle beach at 6 pm  where the temperature was a balmy 4 C. which was 1 degree less than at home the day before. So I deduce that they can have a winter here too but the locals refuse to acknowledge it (they wear shorts, t-shirts, etc.).
We had to change villas because the heat was not working (it is kind of important when the night temperature will be -1c.). It was tuff since there is 5 villas occupied on 52.
Also if you do not CAMP you cannot get a Good Sam rebate (10%). They do not know why. Only "the powers that be" know why, but it's difficult to talk to them. I will try and keep you abreast of my "croisade".
Well after going to shop for food and a good supper at the villa we are taking it easy. of course we are just starting to get information but after 2 days only we can say: our brains are presently frozen to conclude on anything right now. Don't worry though we are talking about a warmup soon.
Later folks

Gee, I think you could've saved yourselves the drive and holed up in the basement at home; it might've felt the same! Here's to hoping that the weather take a turn for something a little more sunny! If not, how open are you to a drive further south? :)
