Today was the day of disappointments. Let me explain.
1- Temperature is cool with winds from the north (dam northern people). So after a while even 13c. seems too cool.
2- I go to fish at the other lake. I'm freezing my butt because of the win (dam north win). Even the fishes are down under with their coats.
3- We go to McClennanville, a little town that some person told us is a cute fishing village where you can have fresh seafood. Well first it's way south of Myrtle beach (60 miles). Second there is construction in Georgetown on the way (45 minutes wait each way). Third nice little village but we are out of the fishing season. So nothing is very fresh from that town. So we came back with a container of crab dip from North Carolina.
4- After supper we go to the show: Legends (Elvis, Blues brothers, Jerry Lee lewis, etc.). Price is $35 US per person and up. We both agree it was OK but not great. Just 2h. also. They want you to buy your photo with Elvis for $20 and other souvenirs that are trinkets (Elvis is too old for $20). Also we got caught by those Timeshare people again who wanted us to visit them for 90 minutes and they would give us more tickets for more of those shows and... and... and... $10 for a drink and popcorn at intermission. Popcorn is not cheap in the States. We didn't accept. They let us go.
So as you see that was an OK day but with some disappointments.
Tip: prepare yourself for these days. Be sure not to spend to much for this and do not accept any offer that sound too good to be true because it is not true in the US.
Oh well that was not a great day as you see but Hey! it was not snowing and I was not working. Later cadets.
