The Fountain Gate was repaired by Shallun son of Col-Hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah, he rebuilt it, roofing it over and putting its doors and bolts and bars in place. He also repaired the wall of the Pool of Siloam, by the King's Garden, as far as the steps going down from the City of David.
Nehemiah 3:15
Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah (Siloam)...And you saw the City of David had many breaches in its defenses; you stored up water in the Lower Pool. You counted the buildings if Jerusalem and tore down houses to strengthen the wall. You built a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the Old Pool, but you did not look to the One who made it, or have regard for the One who planned it long ago.
Isaiah 8:6, 22:9-11
Having said this, he spit on the ground, mad some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam". so the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
John 9:6-7
