At breakfast the guys introduced me to hazelnut paste from Giresun. Its just amazing spread on bread which we always have in large supply.
We'd already cycled 70km when we stopped for a huge lunch in Giresun.
We planned to camp again but arriving where the Rough Guide described copious beaches and finding a major road we sought accommodation elsewhere. I walked into the Teachers House who were more than happy to arrange rooms for us as they were quiet.
