Right now when I am writing this piece of text for the blog
I don’t really know: am I dreaming? Am  I
terribly tired? Am I enthusiastic? Well I guess there’s a small little bomb
within me waiting to explode once I’ll get to Vancouver.

Last night…before leaving home at 4:00 in the morning in
order to get to the airport…I was unable to sleep as it was so hot outside and
I was so impatient! I tried to sleep …and I ended up sleeping not more than 2
hours I guess.

I spent quite a nice time with my family and we joked all
the time till we got to Bucharest. My dad was even willing to take me some
“nice shots” as he calls them before leaving. I guess he was pretty nervous too
and what made me laugh was the fact that he remembered that I have just started
a blog. So he told me:” We need to take some good pictures for your blog, my
dear!”.And so did we!   After leaving my parents who are always crying when they
watch me go I had quite a nice flight with British Airways from Bucharest to
London Heathrow. The staff was extremely nice to me and willing to communicate
so I made some friends on the go!

I spoke with the flight attendants and laughed a bit, I met
a girl standing close to me who was going to Toronto and then …when I arrived
in London I helped some non-english speakers to find their way through the
airport.

Luckily I didn’t get bored and time flew quickly despite the
huge turbulences. At least it was more fun!

Now I’m in London trying to use my time wisely and waiting
for the right time to come (17:15).

I don’t know how it happens but I always meet extremely nice
people when I travel and I really hope it’s gonna happen the same during my
next flight.

I will be flying for approximately 10 hours so I’ll share
the info about the other flight later on.

No problems with my visa, no problems with lost objects, no
problems with lack of making the most of my trip! Positive energy all around
and some coke to keep me awake before starting to see some good movies in the
plane (I hope).

GET BACK TO YA’
LATER! UNTIL THEN MY STATUS IS: ENJOYING LIFE!

….once I got into the plane and found my place for the long
flight I saw a very sweet girl trying to fit her luggage somewhere above the
seats. I offered to help her and we started talking as apparently she was
having her place booked right close to me. Her name was Danelien (quite
beautiful I thought) and she was also travelling to Canada for her studies
(coming from Belgium).

I couldn’t believe how time passed by so quickly! Almost 10
hours passed and all this time we have been continuously talking or watching
different things. I really liked her company and I felt that both of us had
something in common! Dunno what yet but I’m very much looking forward to
meeting her again in Vancouver.

After all this happened, we safely arrived above a
spectacular Canadian view! Mountains with snow on top and water, looking like
they were especially shaped to meet the visitor’s eye and make him never want
to blink!

So here I am now, safe and sound and ready to post some funny
facts that have just happened to me in only 24 hours since I am here! Hello
Vancouver! I hope you’ll stay in my heart as beautiful and big as I have seen
you from the plane!
