Copacabana, Bolivia

Ah, Copacabana. It may not be the more famous Brazilian beach, but it does have a beach and with it a perfectly lovely vista over Lake Titicaca. The sun shone and the lake was calm. A nice place where one could definitely lose track of time enjoying doing not a lot. Not that we did, well not too much. Instead of loafing we got ourselves on a boat and slowly chugged our way over to the Isla del Sol, the Island of the Sun. This is the birthplace of the Inkas in their creation legend. Appropriately, the sun was pretty special for us here too, encircled entirely by a double rainbow (take a look at the photo).
