Got up today bright and early 0530 showered and did last minute preparations, Kim made coffee, ate some oatmeal and sat and talked for a bit. I am leaving the cabin in Fancy Gap and heading up to Mikes to meet he and Mac. Arrived there around 0730 and had a ham bisquit and some more coffee. Mac arrived a few minutes later and we departed around 0830 on the “Big Adventure”.
We headed out from Blacksburg on US 460 to Bluefield WV and up the Turnpike I-77 Northbound. SW Virginia and WV was absolutely wonderful as always, however we hit a complete deluge at the third Paytoll station, it was nasty!!! I actually overpaid one of the toals, as I left the booth my tank bag flew open and two dollars flew out, my contribution to the WV stimulous program.
Then it was into Ohio and well what can I say, it was Ohio. Very flat, lots of farms and really HOT around 90 degrees or so. Indiana not really to different. I logged 618 miles from Fancy Gap this morning and around 12 hours saddle time, way toooo much for my liking. We are currently at the Chain o Lakes State Park and being devoured by Mosquitos, BIG Mosquitos!!!!
I am tired so all for now, Gnight all.

Mike I think you forgot something here in NC. ME.I hope all is well. I have a suggestion for the bugs, Hotels. haha. I will try to check it everyday. I think this is kindof cool. FREE VACATION!!!
