What a day of travel the scenic byways of Iowa!!!  Ok, well I have decided that we already live in the most scenic part of Iowa!  We did drive the Great River Road from Harpers Ferry to Dubuque.  It was nice to finally see the famous Balltown and the great restaurant there, although we did not stop.

Our first official stop was in Walcott, Ia, just outside of Davenport.  Walcott is home to the World's Largest Truckstop, one of Cliff's regular stops.  I was shocked at how big it was!  I can see why he stops there to get out of the truck for a while.  This truckstop had everything from Semi's on display, it's own theaters, showers, dentist, 4 fast food joints, and a full sitdown restaurant.  They did offer wifi, but being our first time trying wireless, we couldn't figure it out!

We decided to push on a little further and make it into a new state at least before calling it a day, so Galesburg, Illinois is the stop for the night.  To dark to tell what is here, we will probably go explore a little bit before sleeping, at least to find a bite to eat.

Ok, now going to try and attach a couple pictures from the I-80 truckstop to show ya'll some of what the inside looked like.  The outside was simply to big to photograph!

Never mind....  will try and add pics tomorrow, having user difficulties!
