Although the only change in location that we made after we arrived in Santa Barbara was the hotel (nothing bad just had to get close to the action) i have decided that the wedding day alone deserves an entry all to itself....It was a beautiful day...a better day couldn't have been imagined.....well apart from waking up still drunk and then the headache and stomach churning followed just as i was applying the makeup.in preparation as one of the bridesmaids for the day....then the Tylenol was being supplied (thanks to those involved oh and the red nail varnish supplier..thanks) as this was all going on i thought to myself as many would...why did we drink so much the day before the wedding and the famous never again!!!

But the show had to go on and it did to perfection..with plenty of people hiding their sick heads. Photos were taken starting around midday and so meant that once that was taken care of it was one less thing for people to worry about. The guests started to arrive and then the big walk down the aisle began...as you walked towards the top of this beautiful outdoor rotunda all you could see once you pasted all the guests was the big blue ocean. Their friend Greg was the officiant and so it was rather different...he gave a short wish in both Irish and Mandarin and made a ring of petals around them to signify the ring of love...very sweet! the day continued with a cocktail reception and then a fantastic buffet dinner...with a mix of Irish and Mandarin foods....The craziness began once again when 13 Irish tried to get 150 people to do "The siege of Ennis" the first attempt was attrochish..people all confused and bodies taking flight across the dance floor...attempt two was better after a demonstration was soon...i must say plenty were determined to get it right...with all the twilling people were either loosing their feet, heads or some may even lost their stomachs.and with Ger around a number of people were made airborne for a few short seconds whether they liked it or not....oh and did i forget to mention....i think i might have...i caught the bouquet :)
