We came back to meet our friends from Korea, Eugene and Sue. We had last dropped them off at the Atlantis in Reno after skiing with them in Tahoe so it was quite interesting to see them in Bali. They wanted to eat everything in sight coming from the culinary averse island of kOrea. We mostly spent times between the pool, beach and restaurants, such is the case in Bali. Amazing food at shockingly cheap prices in a paradise setting.

We then moved onto our favorite island of Gili Trawangan, about 30 miles east of Bali off the island of Lombok for more of the same. It's the best island in the world for affordable restaurants surrounded by shocking beauty. We lazily hung out on the beach couches, taking time to read and the occasional snorkel off the beach where you can see tons of fish and turtles. This is a SPECIAL place. Everyone loves it and the lack of motorized transport on the island makes it truly relaxing where you enter a state of bliss. Island schedule is great for the soul............
