So here I sit, on my cottage deck admiring beautiful Keuka Lake and trying to get my head around the fact that we will be leaving North America in one week. One week???? How did that happen?
As many of you know we packed up and left dear Stevensville three weeks ago and have been living at the cottage since...well some of us. Joey was in China for almost two weeks getting his work and residence visa finalized and organizing the house while Griffin was at his mom's. The little boys and I have been enjoying life at the Lake.
I never thought I would be a blogger, but am making an effort so that we have a diary for ourselves and can share our adventure with friends and family. So my apologies if this is a boring entry but the true adventure starts in a week as we get on the plane for a 15 hour flight. I'm sure the business people in first class will be thrilled to see three boys sitting with them! The boys are very excited - especially Matthew who announces each morning, "only X number of sleeps until China." I'm not sure what he is expecting when he gets there but I hope he isn't disappointed. :)
I am typing this on our new MacBook and I love it!!! We practiced Skyping today with my dad and am looking forward to communicating that way with loved ones - thanks to Cass too, who had a few test calls from me earlier in the week.
Okay, so I will sign off now and hope to have more exciting new soon.....
