Yesterday, we went to the Hefei Wildlife Park, which was pretty awesome! We were able to get up really close to a lot of the animals and they had this huge, probably 3/4mi long bridge that spanned above the lions, tigers, panthers, and bears exhibits. And then there was a sea lion show...but it was all in Chinese so we just watched and applauded for the sea lion whom we named Simon (apparently his name was really Tintian or something Chinese like that...).
Anyway, but the best news from the last couple days is that I can RUN!!!!! I have gone running the past couple of nights around the track at the school and I haven't passed out at all...not even come close! I don't know if it's the altitude or the humidity or diet or what but something is different here that allows me to be able to exercise and play soccer and everything and I love it! I ran 1 mile straight each night and then walked 1 lap to cool down. I'm going to get all the exercise out of this 4 months that I can! :)
Well, that's it for now. I start teaching tomorrow so I'll probably be updating this with pictures of my kids soon. I miss you all!
