noooooo i dont want to leave! please, no!! but oh, god, my warm, fluffy featherbed, down comforter, feather pillows, my puppy doggies jumping on me as i come in the door, daddy hugging me goodnight everynight, oh gosh. libby and me layin out with the kids. melanie NOT answering her phone (just kidding, i don't really miss that! keep answering when i get home!) and, yes, my jobs. i miss new york and company and justice. but whoaaa. the change of scenery has been absolutely fantastic. this has been the time of my life. i'm truly blessed. sooo. today was an early start, we went to the london tower and brigde first thing, then to buckingham palace and saw the changing of the guards, which was really long and drawn out. it was funny because shelby, natalie, and i were watching, and after the guards came in on horses and lined up facing eachother, they stayed like that for like 15 minutes. just standing there, and everyone was watching them in awe.. natalie said, "so, what, is this a staring contest?!" anyway, it was cool, and of course, we all got pictures with the guards. but they moved their eyes, which was NOT cool, cause i thought they weren't supposed to so much as blink the wrong way. anyway, then we went to westminster abbey. oh my lord. if i could only describe the way i felt standing right in front of it.. i cant. it was simply amazing. then we had a lunch of fish and chips, which, of course, you have to have while in london. afterward we went to covent gardens and shopped for a bit, and came back to the hotel to get ready. tonight was our finale night.. we had italian and yummy wine and went to prince edward theatre to see mary poppins, all of us dressed up all cute. oh.. my... gosh. i usually go to the theatre every christmas to see a christmas carol or the nutcracker ballet, and i have seen a few others, but this.. this was by far the most amazing show i have ever seen. i was smiling the whole time and just freaking out, being here in london and seeing mary poppins, oh, it was the PERFECT way to end our trip. it was absolutely lovely. so anyway, our plane leaves for atlanta in the morning, and i dont think i will sleep until we get on the plane at 9. i mean, maybe a little, but 9 hours is a long time to sit on a plane. on the way here shelby and i were restless and i think i will be able to sleep the entire way back this time. mommy is picking me up from the airport and i cant waittt to see her. i hope melanie comes. melanie, you better be there. stella, you too, baby! mom's birthday is the 11th and so i am going to spend the night with her and SLEEP and wind down from the trip and celebrate her birthday. i've got to disburse souvenirs to everyone, and pretty much everyone is getting SOMETHING. i mean, it's not a lot, but i did what i could. london is EXPENSIVE. i mean, really, really. and i've spent an ungodly amount of money on souvenirs, coffee, chocolate, clothes, and food. anyway, i cant wait to see you guys, and i will have lots of pictures within a week or so once tonya sends me the CD. i will have a few up once i am home from vienna, and a few from other places, but its only like 80 pictures and i will have to sift through those. so, farewell to europe. i will fill in more details in another entry once i am home from all the stuff i wrote in my journal when i couldnt get to a computer, more than anything for my own future reference. while there are a few things i will have to keep a record of to remember, this has most certainly been the most amazing event of my life, and i will never, EVER forget it. :)
