Up at 5:30 (10:30 pm Mobile time).Train to Airport, Shprt wait for airplane. Lucked out -seat empty next to me and in front of me! I watched 3 movies- "One Day" cried, "We bought a Zoo" cried, "Big Miracle". Eveyone by the windows kept them closed, but since I was on an aisle seatin the middle tha was cool. Guess it kept out the glare. Landed early in Atlanta at the new International terminal. Still smelled new. Getting through passport and customs was smooth. One last security check and off to the concourse train. Even after the journey to concourse C and picking up a smoothie had to wait a couple hours plus. Thank goodness for Kindle - yes, I am a book person, but with all the weight I was carrying around ( in my suitcase) that lightweight item came in handy. Then the final leg of the journey in the cigar case they call an airplane. Oh how I dislike those tiny planes. And this was the smallest. On the ground and there was a little angel running to me. And her sweet mom And my Richard and Brett. All there to welcome me home!
Miss O had fun helping me unpack my suitcase. Spent a ilittle while talking to Elizabeth. Patrick called to welcome me home Then to my own bed for the first time in a month! Lovely! Of course I woke early but that's Ok. The birds are singing outside my window. Maybe I can catch a few more minutes of sleep!
