Started the day with sunshine in Tuscany, but as the train got closer to Rome the skies turned grey and the rain set in. Oh well, as I said in England - you buy your ticket, you take your chances.

Hotel is like super close to the train station and quite nice. Bath looks like it was recently renovated. Clean and staff helpful.
I asked for directions to San Pietre de Vincoli and got an entire route, which I pretty much followed. I did get to see Michelangelo's Moses. saw the Coloseum, walked along Ancient Rome, Trevi Fountain and many other things along the way.

The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel is on the agenda for Wed. So let me get going!
