Avoid the Home Place Hotel in Chiang Mai! There were rips in the window screen that I didn't notice at first when they showed me my room. Later that night I was eaten alive by the mosquitoes!
When I got out of the shower I wanted to dry off, but the towel they left on the bed was torn and had brown streaks on it. It looked like stains from sh_t!!
The woman working at the front desk was totally rude! I mentioned the mosquitoes coming in through the ripped screen, and she couldn't care less.
Stay away from the Home Place Hotel Chiang Mai!
