We wake in Kampot early and spend the day no doing much to be honest, relaxing a bit on the riverfront. We decide that today we'll move on to Kep, a small fishing village along the coast. Finding a tuk-tuk driver to take us is easy and he insists that 10USD is a fair price. However we find out that the right price should be 7USD and the little bugger is trying to overcharge us. We're not too happy about this, obviouslly, and confront him where we agreed to meet- I have to say, credit goes to Alyson's angry side for the next bit (nicknamed Debrah in honour of the lady off Dragon's Den)- she gave him a bit of a verbal kicking and we left him speechless before aranging another tuk-tuk through the hotel for 7USD.
Arriving in Kampot we find that we have to pay 10USD a room here, as cheap accomadation is rare. Grr...But the hotel is nice and we spend the remaints of the day reading in a hammok, hard life and all that...
The morning after we walk into Kep town and to be honest, there is nothing here - a very small, quaint fishing village with old tourist villas that have for some reason been abandoned. It's lovely though, and we ave a few beers before heading over to Vietbnnam in the afternoon.
(There was a bar called Led Zep in Kep, but typically it was closed when we got there..)
