As of right now, I am packing for my 2 month adventure abroad to my home country! I'm going to stay in Lahore with both my nano and dado (maternal and paternal grandmothers). The last time I was in Pakistan, I was only five so it's going to be interesting going back! And, all the Pakistani people I know have been giving me "advice" about my journey. Here is just some of what I've been told:

DO NOT drink tap water!
Drink bottled water and / or water that has been boiled and then refrigerated
Eat Home Cooked Food
Don't eat streetfood
(According to everyone, the consequence of not doing the above will get me SICK!)
Don't wear jeans ... you'll burn
Don't talk at the marketplace because the salesp people will increase the price of everything you're buying!
It's HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT in Pakistan
You're going to have to take multiple showers in one day
Driving is insaneeee
You're Urdu is going to be terrible compared to everyone elses
Don't play with jinns ... no seriously, don't
(And on a more positive note...)
Go Shopping!
Enjoy Halal McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut
Go to Murree and Islamabad
Have fun with the family = )

So, I've been hearing about Pakistan for the last 15 years and I'm excited about actually seeing the country myself! I plan on making the most out of this trip, and I plan on updating this blog every couple days or so. So hopefully everyone back home can keep up with my trip!
