Paris is everything you expect it to be and more! We spent 8 days there and enjoyed every minute of it. The weather on the first day was glorious however over the following days the weather became cooler and you could tell winter was on the way. Autumn was a lovely time to visit Paris, with the change of foliage and leaves turning brown and the falling to the ground.
We did all the touristy things, visited the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arch de Triomphe, Champs Elysees - the famous shopping strip where the flagship Louis Vuitton is, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge - from the outside, Opera House - from the outside, Sacre Coeur and just walked and walked and walked some more!
We made a day trip to Disneyland and that was sooo much fun - "its a small world after all.." and went on a few scary rides. Trent also went on a day trip to the Somme to see the battle fields and war memorials of the WWI.
Oh and of course we ate croissants, baguettes and eclairs til they were coming out of our ears... well not quite that bad. They are simply amazing in Paris though, I have especially never tasted chocolate eclairs like that before - to die for... ahhhhh.
