We stayed in Riomaggiore, a lovely little coastal village of the famous and breathtakingly beautiful, Cinque Terre aka the Five Lands (another brilliant suggestion from Adam!!!). It is the first of the five and there is a walking coastal path that joins the five villages - Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and finally the lovely Monterosso. The walk starts out lovely and easy on a little stretch called "Lovers Lane" but with every connecting village comes an even more rugged climb, but the view is just amazing and it was totally worth it!!!

Cinque Terre is another must see Italian destination for all those who may travel there. As you can see by the pics the water is amazing and the villages were so quaint and colourful. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is another UNESCO World Heritage Site - man we've been to so many now I should add them all up.

Oh and Adam, I hope these pictures don't make you miss the place too much!

Enjoy all
