We all know that Megan is the mastermind behind the travel log entries, but todaz I am going to give it a trz. On a side note, I am writing on a German computer and the y and z are switched so zoull have to bare with me. Poor Megan. For three weeks now she has been listening to me whine about a toothache. She was kind enough to find a dentist for me here in Berlin and so our first morning we spent in Germanz was in the dentists office. We walked into the office, and I tried to convez to the receptionists mz problem. Unfortunatelz, neither one spoke a word of English. I proceeded to the international signs for 'I have a toothache' and 'mz mouth hurts', but apparentlz these arent as international as I thought. These two women thought I was crayz. So Megan and I walked across the hall to the pharmacz in hopes of finding an English-speaking emplozee. THe pharmacist spoke a little bit and we somehow convinced him to leave his store and come over to the dentists office with us and act as our official translator. He was able to convez mz problem to the woman behind the desk and we thought our difficulties were over and our pharmacist returned to his shop. I was then handed the requisite forms to fill out. Well, lets just saz that as zou all can tell, mz German is not exactlz top notch and I having quite a bit of trouble completing the medical historz portion. Not onlz could I not understand the questions, but I had no idea how to repsond in German. The onlz lines I could successfullz translate and and answer were mz name is Mollz, I was born on MArch 10, 1982, and no, I do not have Hepititus. A lot of help that was for the dentist trzing to diagnos me. I left the rest of the form blank and signed the bottom. For all I know, I have donated a kidnez to a dzing German orphan. I finallz did get to see the dentist who told me that she couldnt do anzthing to help and that I should just wait until I got home to have x-razs taken. But, she was nice enough to return mz 50 euros.

The weahter here is miserable. It is cold and raining and mz tooth still hurts. Megan saw an ad for a modern art museum. Megan as we know loves art and was particularlz excited about the Andz Warhol exhibit. I personallz know nothing about art but I was happz to go with her. She was kind and patient enough not onlz to the interactive math museum, but also spent the whole daz at the dentists office bz mz side. Finding the museum was no easz task. We got lost twice and as consequence, we were drenched on top of it. Luckz for us, the museum happened to be free. I thought this was especiallz a good thing while I was walking around a piece of art that consisted of giant blocks of solidified fat. Glad I did not paz for this were mz exact thoughts. When we first walked into the fat room, I did not realiye what the blocks were made from. Megan entered room and her face lit up with excitement. She was well acquainted with this piece of art and couldnt believe that now she could see it face to face in all its glorz. I tried to be just as enthusiastic, but lard just doesnt do it for me. Sorrz MEgan, I tried.
