Chicago and Savannah are well known for their St.Patrick's Day celebrations, but let it be known that Queenstown can be spoken in the same sentence. The day was insane to say the least.

After our canyon swing we went to Winnies and met up with our Irish friend Seerla who had already begun drinking earlier in the day. It was her day so we decided to eat dinner and catch up with her. Seerla loved being Irish and repremanding me on the lack of green I was wearing. Unfortunately Molly had to work which left me, Lindsay, Seerla, and Scotty (our friend Sarah's boyfriend who is from Ft. Meyers), Gail (Seerla's friend from home) to drink the Irish Carbombs and take green shots. Then we met up with everyone we worked with later that night.

Highlights of the day:
~Our Stalker We ate dinner while sitting at the bar at Winnie's when we were approached by this kid who couldn't be more than 20 years old. he wanted to know where we were from and when he said he was from Virigina I made him talk to MOlly since she went to school there. He went to the military academy and wore a class ring that must have weighed 76 pounds. He just attached himself to us. He would even follow us to our next destination and just jump around and laugh. We didn't know his name and didn't want to ask so we just called him Billy. When we made it back to Winnie's our bartenders comped us some drinks and since he was sitting with us he got a free drink too. We kept passing notes to the boys to stop serving him, thinking that would get him off our case. But all of a sudden he fell straight off his stool. It was the funniest thing ever. After he composed himself again at the bar he spoke nothing but spanish. Finally Scotty told him that we didn't want him around and the bartenders stopped serving him. he made another appearance later. Ugh.
~The green wig Everyone in town was in full St. Patty's Day spirit, regardless of their own nationality. This upset Seerla because it was her day. So while we were at Buffalo these three girls came in wearing green wigs, etc. Seerla wanted to make sure they were Irish so I just turned around and asked them. They were from Canada and England so I told the girl it was not appropriate to be wearing a green wig and that I was going to have to take it from her. She looked confused but I just took it anyway. And then Seerla wore it the remainder of the night.
~The Cement Mixer We convinced Lindsay that a cement mixer was the best shot around and she ended up spilling it all over her jeans. It was great. She then went back into the kitchen and put on Zach's shorts. Now a size zero wearing boys shorts was the funniest thing ever. She was a champ.

It was a great 12 hours of drinking. We were champs!
