Back in Wellington we tried to become extras in Peter Jackson's King Kong to no avail. Now, Molly and I have our sights set on another movie: The Power Rangers.

Two of the five rangers have been frequent visitors of the Winnie's bar this past week due to their filming here in Queenstown. If any of you saw the first one (and I know my family has seen it one or fifty-two times) you'll remember that the rangers participated in many extreme sports such as sky diving, so, of course, Queenstown seems like a logical location set.

Molly and I have big plans to actually hang out with them tonight. And no, they don't wear their power ranger suits out in public.
