After weeks of doing the same ole thing, we decided to liven things up a bit and do one of the popular tourist attactions: Shotover Canyon Jetboating.

With Danni back in town for a few days we thought it a perfect time to bus it up to the canyon for a thrilling, 70km ride through the narrow and impressive canyon. Our friends Lindsay and Shawn came with us and we had a lovely time.

The ride was pretty great. The selling points of the trip are the fast speed and 360 degree turns. Since the canyon was so rocky and narrow the driver was constantly driving towards canyon walls and turning suddenly at the last minute. Lindsay and I sat on the perfect side and were never more than a few inches away from a canyon wall. A very fun ride.

Not to put any unwanted pressure on anyone but this is one activity you will be participating in if you come visit us here in Queestown.
