It has been pretty exciting over the last couple of days, not only were we getting ready to get back on the road, but we heard news from home that Kevin is now an uncle!!! Congrats Krista and Matt! Welcome to the family Declan, we can't wait to see you!
So with that wonderful news lighting up our day we have left Switzerland for Colmar, France. We were there last year at this time for a week of wine festivals. We thought it would be fun to return this year and we brought our friends Matt and Elizabeth. We plan on eating and drinking very well this weekend. It should be a blast and we think it is the perfect way to start traveling again.
On Monday we go to Basel, Switzerland for a couple of days before we fly from there to Cagliari, Sardinia. Then we go to Sicily, Southern Italy, Greece and Eastern Europe all in about three months. We are coming home for Christmas around November 30. We are planning on being home for about 4-6 weeks. It now looks like Australia and New Zealand for a few months in the new year. Sounds exciting and we will have to see how it all plays out. At any rate, the travelpod will be in full force again and we hope you enjoy them. We will see you soon!
