Thursday was a very very relaxing day!! We got up at about 12.30 (just after midday) Got our pool gear on and headed to laze by the pool. After a couple of rotations in the sun in to the pool for a quick dip to cool down and then back out for a couple more rotations. After about an hour or so I left Michelle at the pool and headed back to the room for a bit of an afternoon nanna nap! (I did say it was a very relaxing day!) After about an hours nanna nap the drinking began out on our little patio area watching the arvo go by.

At 6.00 we headed into town to buy some little gifts and post cards for the family. Purchasing the first shot glass of the collection!! Only about 17 more to go! While waiting for Michelle to finish her gift shopping I strolled down the street and happened to find myself in a local jewellers... Looking at all the sparkling things.. After a bit of negotiation and uming and ahing I decided to buy my ring. A white gold one carrot ruby with diamonds around the outside.. Absolutely gorgeous! With a bit of a price tag to go with it too.. But diamonds are forever, especially if you buy them for your self because it doesnt lead to divorce or disappointment.

So after my "little" purchase, we did our usualy daily check of emails etc before heading to a cocktail bar down on the water front where we enduldged in cocktail after cocktail along with some starters and a main.. very nice food. After nuts, popcorn and some water melon and paying the bill our waiter got us a shot on the house... The local drink over here is Ouzo, so down the hatch goes a shot of Ouzo... um.. very interesting.

After our shot we headed home to rest our heads for the night so we could get up early Friday to pick up my ring (it had to be made over night) and then head to the airport for our trip back to Athens and our lovely druggo lane!
