The next morning wasn't as cold, but still below my comfort level. But even better was the fact that after warming up during the day, it didn't really cool back down in the afternoon. Even at 6:00 when we arrived in Chiang Khong, Thailand, it was still shorts and T-shirt weather.

So, that was it for Laos. Next time I'm in this part of the world, I think I'd like to go back there, probably to the south which I never saw. All told, we really only spent a week there, much of it traveling. I'm sure there's much more to see.

No time in Chiang Khong for anything but dinner and a quick ATM trip, although we did get a nice view of a fireworks display while eating dinner.
