Well we're still here. Still in Sydney. I can't believe we've been here now for nearly 2 months. We're not complaining, mind you, its great here!! The weather's great, the foods fab, there's loads to do and the city is welcoming. Its all good.

We're working away too, temping here and there. There have been a few jobs over the last couple of months, mainly in offices. I'm working in a University at the moment and have been for the past 3 weeks. I might be here for a few more before I have to find something else, which shouldn't be hard because there's plenty of work around, especially if you're with the right agencies and have office experience. Some days you could have 3 or 4 places wanting you at the same time, which is good and bad. I just hope its not a case of feast or famine. Aishling is working away in a reputable investment bank doing very well for herself, and of course they all think she's great. No surprise there really.

So what have we been up to I hear you ask? Well apart from working, there's plenty of eating and drinking to be done. The food really is top class here. We've been shopping a lot - it gets much better when you know where to go. We went to Taronga Zoo a couple of weekends ago. That was pretty good, especially the cable car ride to the top over all the animals. The reptile house was good too.

Then there are the beaches. We've been out to Bondi Beach just on the south east of the city, which is a cool place. Very layed back, although its full of posers and David Hasslehoff lookalikes. A little pretentious. Another beach is Manly, which is on the North Shore. Now thats a beach. Its a mile long stretch of beautiful tree lined sand and crystal clear water and its has a much better vibe than Bondi. We happened to be there during the Jazz Festival which was pretty good. There were loads of bands and about 5 stages. Great fun. A few beers and the fact that it was a nice 30 celcius also helped.

The ferry back from Manly is a great trip. Its a great reminder of where you are. If you sit at the front around sunset you get great views of the skyline as you head back towards the city. I've stuck on a few photo's for you to check out.

So there you go. Thats what we've been up to. See ya!!
