Ooooh its nice here. Really nice. The stories were all true. Its so relaxed and laid back here. Reminds me a bit of Yangshou in China, a real backpackery (is that even a word? It is now!!) kinda place.

We hopped off the overnight train, which was very comfy, at about 8am and found ourselves a nice Guesthouse right in the middle of the old city. Straight away the place strikes you as a much more relaxed place than Bangkok, a complete contrast. We rented a moped for a couple of days (highly reccommended, saves loads of time and money on tuc tucs and taxis etc) and went to do some 'Tropical Mini Golf'. Which would have been much more fun if Aishling hadn't kicked my ass. Then we zipped off to the Night Bazaar and checked out the stalls. They have everything here, and for less than the price in Bangkok.

We've booked a trip to the jungle for tomorrow which should be fun. And, as a shock to you all, Aishling somehow convinced me to go to a health spa and get 'treated' with mud baths, scrubs and facials. Thats on Tuesday.

Stay tuned to see if I've turned into an even bigger girls blouse after that.
