Where I stayed
Kim was not very interested in snorkeling, but she wanted to see some sea turtles. We booked a cruise on a catamaran. One of their features was all-you-could-drink rum punch on the way back. We met some people from England. It was nice to meet some new people.
Our first stop was where the turtles were at. They came to the boat. I assume the crew feeds them to get them to flock to the boat. There were many fish around as well. Kim was very happy that she got to see and touch the turtles. We didn't venture too far from the boat. Kim was happy; she got a life vest and felt safe with it on. I was surprised at how close the turtles came to the people in the water. They did not seem afraid of us. We could reach out and touch them.
Our second stop was a reef with a shipwreck. We saw a few turtles, but fish were the big draw. I swam between the two hulls of the catamaran and saw some mighty big fish. On the way back, we had a lot of punch. I had to watch myself. I had to drive on the way back to the hotel.
