Today we left the lights of Vegas, with our many memories and headed to Bass Lake.

Today was going to be a long driving day as we headed back through the state of California.

As we got closer to Bass Lake the weather started to get worse. The sky was really dark.

We made a stop before we got to our accommodation. We were able to buy some drinks for our party tonight and anything else we may need. It was also the first time I had seen it snow and not just the snow on the ground.  It was extremely cold here.

Not long after our stop we arrived at the beautiful Bass Lake. We got our bags and drinks off the bus and looked up the hill as that is where most of the cabins were located. Let's just say it took quite a while to get up the extremely icy hill. I fell over a number of times as did everyone else. A few people even rode down the hill on their suitcases. Some people were lucky and had cabins quite close. The door was a bit tricky to open but I was surprised with the size of the Cabin. There was plenty of room and there was a kitchen.

We had about 45 minutes before we had to meet for diner. Two groups of 4 had to be nominated as the party cabin and we all went there for our pizza and white t-shirt party.

It was a good night. Pizza was really good. We played some cards, listned to music and signed each others t-shirts.

After this night I try hard not to drink red drinks. My lips were stained red for the rest of the night and everyone thought I was wearing red lipstick.

I stayed until about 12 and then headed up the hill to my cabin in the freezing cold. But I didn’t fall over!!
