Lisa had a bad night thanks to the disco thumping it out until the early hours so just a gentle pack up and off to breakfast.
Got to our cooking course a little early and sorted a driver for our next few trips. Cooking course was great fun, all 8 of us bundled into a convoy of tuctuc and headed of to the veg, spice and fish markets. Spent a good wedge of money on about 5 years supply of spices at about 5th of the cost (and double the quality) of back home. The next few hours were spent being led through the steps for 7 different dishes including 2 tuna curries, a breadfruit curry, dall, a radish curry and a salad. I tried to get value for money and eat as much of it as humanly possible, which was instantly regretted once we started our 2.5 hour journey to deniyaya which was an extremely twisty and windy climb into the hills.
Sat and chatted to a retired English couple who had been on the road for a year and a German couple who were keen mountain climbers and were quite good fun.
