Michelle: Well we've been in London for a day longer than we expected. It's been an awesome city to hang out in but we (at least I) are ready to head out. Our plans fell through so we couldn't get out of London yesterday but tonight we are taking an 11:45pm ferry ride to the Netherlands. It will take all night but it's okay cause we can sleep in cabins on the ferry.
One of the stressful, yet exciting, things about traveling is when plans fall through and all of a sudden we find ourselves having to drastically change our plans from what we thought they were going to be and then all of a sudden not knowing where we will spend that night. I think we've all gotten to the point where we see it as mostly exciting instead of a huge problem. I know this sounds corny, but as long as we have each other, everything is okay.
Today we spent a few hours in Hyde Park. London has had absolutely incredible weather for us the past few days. It hasn't rained once! And I thought London would be a totally different experience. Today especially- it's bright, sunny (no clouds in sight) and HOT out. We lounged in the park all day, playing hackey sack, reading, listening to iPods, watching a soccer game, eating ice cream, etc. I'm not sure what we're gonna do now... We came to this internet cafe so we're probably gonna have lunch soon then do something else before making our way out to the ferry dock in Liverpool.
If anyone ever makes it over to London, I would recommend the Victoria Albert museum- tons of cool stuff. There are rooms dedicated to all sorts of historical objects. One of my favorites was seeing a jeweled pendant that Queen Elizabeth I gave Frances Duke. It's crazy to see stuff like that in person. My other favorite was seeing a photograph by Andy Warhol, where he contrasted the black and white with the same photograph of a young woman decked out in 60's style.
London has been fun. But I'm definitely ready to move on. I'm not quite sure what to expect in Amsterdam. We don't even know where we are staying yet... But I'm sure you'll hear all about it in a couple days.
Love you all, Michelle

Amanda:
Hey guys!!
We are finally leaving London tonight! We definatley spent a little bit longer here then we expected due to some plans for transportation falling thru, but its all good. Life is good. And I can't honestly complain about being stuff in London :) Today was so chill. Its so nice outside. I love laying out in the sun and not having any time restraints. Its pretty effing awesome. We're actually at an internet cafe on the second floor of a subway. I think we're gonna get some sammies here in a bit (Sarah Mark I totally blame you for getting me to say sammies, I never called them that until I knew you lol). I'm sort of a dork because I'm actually kind of excited to ride the ferry. I've never been on one really except for when I was a kid and that doesn't really count since I don't even remember it, the only proof I have is pictures. Another adventure :)
I hope everyone knows how much I miss you! Becki, Rach, Sarah...you girls are the best and you should all keep an eye on the mail :) To all my peeps at HI Express, your all awesome, I love that you guys keep up on our blog and keep track of where we're at and stuff. It makes me happy that you guys care that much about me and I am sending each of you hugs thru Europe, across and ocean and the States to Spokamton just for you!! We stay at Holiday Inns alot and I can't help but think of you guys all the time and all of our crazy hotel shenanigans. We've actually dealt with some pretty horrible desk staff throughout this trip and it makes me feel really lucky for working with such awesome persons like yourselves!!
Thats it for now and I'm sure we'll have another update soon!
