Michelle: Since I last wrote, we had hitchhiked to the Dingle Peninsula. Well we went on the tour and it was one of the most beautiful sites I've ever seen- we drove 30 miles along the coast and along the cliffs, enjoying all the beautiful scenery and learning from a knowledgeable Irish man who led the excursion. I can't even describe how beautiful it is out there- just wait till we post pictures...
We ended up splitting up into two's and hitchhiking to a town called Tralee. Diane and I got picked up immediately (again, two girls have an easier time finding rides) and got a ride straight there, where we wandered this weird ghost town and finally found the cheapest hotel possible. Andre and Amanda had a hard time finding a ride and finally made it to the town after catching two rides. We stayed in Tralee that night (last night) then woke up early this morning and caught a bus to Belfast, Northern Ireland. So we are officially in our second country! We were on two different buses today, for a total of 9 hours I believe. We are mastering Yuker, this cool card game Diane taught us and have been played a few games already. Also, we are going to make use out of the hackey sack I brough. Andre and I are determined to get good at it- you'll see... We arrived in Belfast this evening and wandered around the town for a bit, found a really cheap hostel where we're at now and did some laundry. Andre and I just went out around the city for a couple hours, looking for somewhere to get food. Everything closes soooo early here though, for some reason. We finally found one restaurant (I won't even tell you what it is) and now all four of us are back at the hostel. We are staying in a 20-bed room in the hostel so I'm definitely taking a sleeping pill tonight and using my ear plugs. (They've come in handy with Andre's snoring...) If you're wondering what Belfast is like, I'll give you a brief description: tons of really cool, old buildings everywhere, tons of shopping, and a London-feel (even though we haven't been to London yet, but it seems like what it will be like.) Oh, and twice as expensive as in America! We are using pounds now instead of Euros and already feeling the money draining from our pockets.
Tomorrow we are going to explore all around the city then go on a day trip outside Belfast the next day, to the Giant's Causeway and maybe Derry.
Ireland is such a BEAUTIFUL country. So far we've seen mostly the Republic of Ireland. I just love it here. The grass is as green as green can be, the sheeps are plentiful, the Irish people are so nice and helpful, the towns are so cute and interesting, the nightlife has been fun (in Dublin), and overall we just love it. Traveling has been working out really well for us- we have had a lot of Irish luck as some may say and everything is going smooth. We are going to try to upload pictures soon, but so far all the computers we've been using have had their USB drives blocked off so we can't upload pictures from our cameras yet.
Please post comments so we can hear from you all!

@#%&*!!
Hello Amanda! It's Sarah, Hoff, & McIver. Just a normal work night here on The Rock. Normal with the exception of the fact that the phone panel in the back is broke & so it beeps, a long, constant, solid beeeeeeeep...we're all pretty much crazy about now. I think of you every time I see that Verizon wireless commercial with the guy sleeping in the hostel with the 2 crazy guys rockin out & he's trying to sleep...:) McIver just told me about how expensive internet use is there! SHI*!! Tell us about the streets & stuff. Are they cobblestones!? Do they serve the beers in big thick frosty mugs like in the movies?? Did they hand you a PINT when you stepped off the plane? I think it's a requirement, ya? We miss you. It was swell to hear your voice today. BE GOOD!!

Re: Learn the Irish dance
All dogs in Ireland are either stray or very happy that they have no leashes and all the freedom in the world. We are going to grocery stores and sharing the cost of crappy sandwiches, and sometimes we stumble across some awesome cheap pub food. If Curry reads this, I totally bought a flask here, you are always right!

Re: Sounds amazing so far
Hey Jen and Silky Smoothilicious!!!

We are all eating everything we can all the time if it is free or cheap. Amanda wants us all to drink nonfat milk and eat healthy crackers, so Andre will be very skinny when we return! I want a mushroom burger, though....
