Woke up to yet another beautiful sunny day in Visby. You never really hear much about Gotland back home in Canada when speaking about travel, and it really seems like a place that shouldn't be missed. Only being there for two days could never be enough to experience all that this incredible place has to offer, and I really hope to go back sometime in the near future, perhaps to see the rauk formations on the north part of the island, I have heard that they are something not to be missed.

After breakfast we again made our way down to the tourist information, this time to join up with the two and a half hour walking tour of the city. We had a large group of people, mostly from other locations across Europe. There were some people who decided that they had to use the bathroom right as we were going to leave (not in the fifteen minutes they were waiting before it was time to leave) but we got off to a pretty good start. Our guide was very knowledgible, able to answer any of the questions that people were asking. We started off at Tourist information and headed down Skeppsbron and Cramérgatan to Almadalen where we got a quick overview of the history of the island. After that we wandered to the wall and saw a few different interesting sites before making our way back to the church. It was areally fun tour, moved fast enough so that it didn't get boring but not fast enough so that you didn't get to see anything. The one really interesting part was that we managed to get into one of the ruins that is usually not open to the public.

We did a quick lunch and then ran to catch the boat next to Nynäshamn. A quick three hour ride later we ran off the boat to catch the first bus back to Stockholm. It we could get on this bus and it arrive back in Stockholm at the right time then we could catch a train that would go right to our next destination. If we missed it, it would take us about twice as long and cost much more to get there. Luckily, we managed to get on the first bus and were just going to have to keep our fingers crossed. After a scary ride back to Stockholm (our bus driver almost hit a guy cycling about four times on the way back, the cycling guy was not happy) we had enough time to make it to the train. We ran across Stockholms central station, and managed to hop on the train that would go right to Enköping. After a short train ride and a short walk we were at Carina's friends, where we would be spending the nice. After a delicious meal, it was time for bed. I went to bed hoping that the weather would be nice again the next day, we had another full day of sightseeing planned.
