First of all let me say that im sorry for the delay. Dad was on the internet until 11:00 and then jeff calls saying that he wants to meet the next morning at 600!!!! so we would have to wake up at 500 and it would have taken me an hour to write the entry so i had to go to sleep instead super duper sorry!!!! All right then our day started out at 700. We went down stairs for our breakfast that wasnt that great today. Dad had waffles and juice and i had a muffin, cereal  and juice. After beakie we headed out to mount lemmon for a short hike and to set up our malaise trap. It was an hour drive it was that took us 8000 feet above sea level. It was really and truly the most amazing thing that ive ever seen in my short life!!! Mountains covered in cacti suddenly turned into lush trees, its was incredible!!!!!!! The highway that we were driving on was very dangerous because if you lost control of your car you would fly of a cliff and down a rocky 8000 feet!! We stopped at some lookouts which was cool and i stood on this crazy thing that was a flat rock balanced on other rocks on the edge of a cliff it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! After that excitment we found a trail called Marshall Gultch. It was kinda like the gatineaus but was cooler. The path was a couple of feet wide and just below was a cute little stream. We finally found a spot to set up the malaise trap which was difficult because we needed a spot that was sunny, beside water and not visible from the trail. The problem was the trail followed the pond. We had to climb up a stream and found the perfect spot. After that we headed to the cookie cabin for some pizza and giant cookies. The funniest part was that there was a sign hanging on the front of the biulding that said STATE FARM IS NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR!! it was funny and we asked about it and apparently state farm didnt pay up when the place burned down a couple years ago with the rest of the towm. The town SUMMERHAVEN. The ride back down the mountain was beautiful of course and dad and i filmed the whole ride. After we got down the mountain i fell asleep and dad started driving to new mexico. We couldnt go to mexico because we would have gotten there at six and the stores and shops would have been closed. We skipped mexico and are going to go on the way back. We drove through a little crap town called LORDSBuRG and before we saw it we saw a sign that said that it was a historic town. When we drove up it was a complete dump literally!!! Everything was run down and falling apart. We finally got to Silver City at about 800. we checked in and unpacked and dad went online while i ordered some dominoes for myself. That was basically the end of our day. We went to sleep at about 1130. I had a terrible dream about a tarantula and couldnt sleep from 100am to 300. we love you both and miss you both a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
